A combination of thriving business, highway and rail access and ample room for growth and expansion makes Caldwell County a prime location for industrial success. Princeton's industrial district along U.S. 62 West is home to two

major manufacturers, the Bremner Food Group and Hydro-Gear, and several specialized plants, like the Special Metals Corp. and Bodycote. Two quarries, one south of Princeton and one near Fredonia in the county's north end, supply limestone and other rock products to a large customer base.

The local Industrial Development Authority and Lake Barkley Partnership for Economic Development work in tandem to recruit new companies and foster growth in existing industries.
