The educational role of the Caldwell County School District is one that honors its past, while always looking to the future.

The school district, headquartered in the historic Butler building downtown, serves students from preschool through 12th grade, as well as adult learners at the Adult Education Center. The Caldwell County Area Technology Center, located in the middle of the county schools' Marion Road campus, educates secondary and adult students from Caldwell and surrounding counties in a variety of marketable trades, from culinary arts and health services, carpentry and welding to information technology.
